Sex and Healthy Living: A Correlation?

According to a recent study, women currently aged 55 and above enjoy sex much more than their same age just a decade ago.
However, this same study shows that the age category 35-54 years decreased satisfaction with sex life, says The USA Today.
Female retirement age often think about sex and make more efforts to diversify the sexual life compared with the fair sex, is in the same age in the 90's, said at the National Research Center at the University of Chicago, Natalia Gavrilova. The biggest change in attitude towards sex occurred with women who are 60 or 70 years.
Researchers compared the results of surveys conducted in the 90's with 725 women aged between 35 to 54 years and 507 women 55-74 years with the results of studies involving 400 women in each age group, conducted in 2004 and 2005.
Gavrilova noted that women of retirement age consider themselves younger than the pensioner believed in the 90's. Changes in the cultural life of society, forcing them to speak more openly about their sexual desires, as well as interest in their health, perceiving sex as an integral part of a healthy lifestyle.
Despite the fact that changes over 10 years, can not be called severe, they are of great importance, as indicated by lower satisfaction with sexual life of women in middle age, greater satisfaction with sex pensioners.
"In today's society for women of my age there are many more opportunities to show their sexuality - noted psychologist and sex therapist Elin Zoldbrod. - I am 59 years old, but I am quite different from what my mother was in the same age. I look younger, am themselves differently and still consider myself a sexual ".
However, Zoldbrod indicates that the majority of her clients aged 30-40 years have problems with their sex lives: "Children are consuming most of his life his parents, the latter simply did not have time for good sex."
Meanwhile, the majority of sexual grandmothers faced with a serious problem - lack of partners. At the age of 70 years, 35% of men do not have a regular partner, compared with 70% of women. Men die sooner, and centenarians prefer to communicate with younger women.
